Are you disappointed that it spoke against your lifestyle?

If we follow the ordinances of man, why not follow the ordinances of God.

If the law punish criminals, does God who is just has no right to judge sinners?

Dura lex, sed lex "The law is harsh, but it is the law"

Depends on the definition of 'God's word'. The Bible was written by a load of misanthropic old men in robes who lived out in the desert thousands of years ago. Only a crazy person would live their life entirely according to their ordinances.

If you are asking if the verses in Leviticus condoning ritualistic animal sacrifices that speak in opposition to my vegetarian lifestyle upset me, then yes they do. If you are asking if the verses that say it is okay to beat your slave as long as he doesn't die immediately upset me because they go against my peaceful, loving nature- the answer is again yes.
Or are you talking about the verses that people use to condone their own homophobia? They do not speak against my lifestyle as a straight person. They speak against my lifestyle as a person who does believes in loving others.

Your god is imaginary. Therefore there are no words from God.

Many of the words from men who claim to speak the words of your god I find offensive because they preach hatred and xenophobia.

Luckily they do not control the law.

"God" doesn't say anything at all, and it's the ultimate arrogance for you to claim that your preferences are "god's" moral commands.

If "God" ever appears and speaks, I'll listen to him. In the meantime, I've got no respect at all for the lifestyles of all of you people who claim that your words are those of "God", and I don't care at all what you think about my lifestyle. I'm better than you.

it becomes offensive when self-righteous people preach it in a "holier than thou" manner. at least that's the reason why I find it offensive. I don't know about the others.

I don't agree with your god's laws. They seem unjust to me. I will not follow them. Call me a non-violent protester.

Saying something is God's word does not make it so.
