Does anyone know how to lose weight and flattent/tone their stomach? I want to lose at least 90 pounds and look toned. I would love to have the weight off by June 2008. Any suggestions? I do not want any medical interventions. Thanks.

Here are some tips:
Eat a lean protein with every meal...it will halp you feel fuller longer, and keep you from losing muscle as you lose weight

Eat alot of fiber, fresh fruit and veggies. They also help you feel satisfied and supply you with vitamins and give you energy.

Make sure to include lowfat dairy...it's proven that if you eat 3 servings of dairy such as lowfat/skim milk, lowfat yogurt, you'll lose more weight faster. The calcium actually blocks some of the fat we eat.

Never eat less than 1200 calories a day...you'll actually slow down your metabolism if you do.

Work on cardio first...start with 15-20 minutes 5 times a week. Then add weight training to your routine. Remember that muscle burns more calories at rest, so it's a great way to boost your metabolism 24/7.

Don't deprive yourself of everything you love to eat..make one day a cheat day, and have just a little. It's discouraging to give something up forever.

Try to keep a daily journal of EVERYTHING you eat...you'll be more aware of how much you're eating, and what you should be cutting back on if you have a visual to look at...

And most of all...stay focused. Lose the weight slowly..1-2pounds a week. You'll be less likely to gain it back. Good luck!
