My boyfriend and I have been together for some time now. He reallys want me to have a child but I feel that I am not financially ready for a child. I just started college and he is in the process of getting a GED. Everytime he brings it up and I tell him that I am not ready for a child he is always saying that I do not care about his feelings. I really love him but have a child is only going to slow me down because I have to go to school in the mornings and I have to be up all night not him. What should I do to show and tell him that I love him, am just not ready to have a child right now?

PLEASE DONT DO IT!!! Having a child is a huge responsibility and should be an equal decison between both parties involved. My brother and his girl were in this same situation. He wanted a baby and like a fool she did it( mind you she already had a child and so did he, but not by each other)anyway neither truly factored in the huge responsibility it takes not to mention neither one was truly ready to give up hanging out. It was not a smart thing at all to do. I would advise you not to do so. A child should be a blessing and not a financial burden. PLEASE DONT DO IT!!!

You do not need to have a child to measure your love for another. If he loves you he will understand your feeling and ability to have a child and take care of that child. Most men including myself can never understand the commitment a women has for a child. He just want to make sure you will never leave him but he needs some other security blanket beside a child

I believe a few men have emotions. The men which are wholly oblivious to whilst a lady is feeling down or disappointed I reckon has no emotions. But we women can also be the equal, I do not see the stereotype of men are dull, we will be able to be dull as good, we are the entire equal. We all make errors, we (confidently) be taught from them and do not do it once more. A man will have to understand whilst his lady is disappointed, so will have to a lady understand whilst she has harm his emotions.

This is so easy. Simply tell him that you will not have a child until your married and secure. That should get him to back off.
