At last someone else noticed the same thing.
I thought NASCAR had called the race and come back from diner and found out Biffle had won the "RAINDELAYED" race.
Guess if Gordon or Johnson had been in the lead the event would have been called.

YES, YES, YES Nascar is manipulating racing when ever it can. And the reason is money money and more money they now that the sport is losing viewers and the sponsers are tired of paying the big bucks to see there car smashed every weekend so Nascar changes certian rules for this driver and not for the next driver, certian rules are so unclear like yesturday the Biff wins put the rule was changed when Robby Gorden was in the same situation. Proof I was at Bristol for the first time this fall it was the most boring race I was ever at. I will no longer waste $500.to a $1000. to watch cars go around in a circle for 2 or 3 hours.

Once again, if you were at the actual race track, you would have seen that forty minutes to the west was solid blue sky. Can you imagine how ticked off the 150 thousand of us who WERE there would have been?? By the time we made it down from the grandstands, and out the main entrance to the trailors it had stopped raining. I'm serious! It took us thirty five minutes to make it out of the stands it was so packed, and we were at the top. I would have been ticked had I made it all the way to my car and the sun was shining. It took a long time to dry the track, no doubt. But the rain itself came fast and hard......And by the way......Bowyer's team was already celebrating as soon as Biffle pulled to the bottom of the track and couldn't make it over the finish line. They had already decided he had won. We were all confused seeing Biffle's team celebrating, and then Bowyer's team. What the heck would Jeff or Jimmie have to gain by Bowyer winning? Biffle is not in the chase, but Bowyer is. I am sure having him win was NOT what they wanted. They were just being honest.

The way they can change the rules from week to week makes it seem as if they are, even if they are not. I know one thing. Not one commentator mentioned the darkness the lap prior to Pablo blowing the tire with 4 laps left. All of a sudden darkness was an issue on the next lap? Bowyer got screwed. Not only that, Biffles car was out of gas and not running when he coasted across the finish line. Gordon and Johnson congratulated Bowyer on the win because they thought he had won. If vet drivers like them thought Biffle had not won, explain how Nascar saw it different. Richard Childress should appeal the decision and protest the win. If they had done the normal green, white, checkered as usual, Biffle was out of gas and it would have been a shootout between Bowyer, Johnson and Jr. Jeers to Nascar this week.

nascar IS manipulating the outcomes due to idiot "debris" cautions and convenient calls making new rules and the like. however I agree with soemone else that they would not intentionally end a race early because they would be missing out on sponsor money.
besides, how much more manipulative can you get besides the retarded Chase????
Thanks a lot to Borrrring Matt Kenseth for goading nascar into messing up the points system.

While it will never been proven, this whole season seems to have bought and paid for by Hendricks Motorsports. Just too many little things that have gone in their favor. Oh the penalities were stout but that was just a smoke screen.
If Rick Hendrick can buy Jeff Gordon a $5 million dollar wife the 1st time and God only knows how much this one and the baby cost him, what says he can't buy a whole dang season for his organization?

Still after 2 hours delay..Tony leads and they restart it.
Brent R - That's kinda an ironic statement coming from a Gordon fan...

That's a really stupid thing to say, yes Nascar is unfair, and needs to change a few things but come on" Golden boy " we sound a little jealous, Tony is the one who caught a big break and they opened up pit row then he blew it, This has nothing to do with favoritism, they just need to make sure they finish the race, and give the win to the right person!!! unlike today's race at Kansas!

They sure are. The only reason they started the race again was because the Hendrick twins would have been behind in the points.

I've always thought that Nascar was "fixed." Reminds me of a continuing soap opera like WWF.
