Use a microdermabrasion system or an acid peel; it will get rid of the spots and scars because it actually removes the discolored skin. Neutrogena has some really great products for both systems.

Cocoa Butter , Vitamin A, C, or E and sunscreen. Sunscreen will prevent the scar from geting darker. I have been using Ole Henriksen's truth serum collagen booster (vitamin c serum) and sheer transformation.

Try AHA creams and vitamin E oil. Also use sunscreen when you can and if possible use moisturizers with a redness reducing effect that also have sunscreen.
Try aveeno's Ultra Calming products. I used them and they helped me alot.

there's a nice $9 skin lightening soap - black licorice soap - or the skin lightening cream that can be a great help to get rid of the pigmentations caused by acne scars.. i've used these and worked really well for me.. safe, too because there's no hydroquinone, mercury or steroids.. check it out -
