Which is more common for "ふ" to be romanized as? Fu or Hu?

There are some official and non-official Romaji rules in Japan. Official rule prefer Hu. But people don't care much, and both Hu and Fu are commonly used. Fu is used in Hepburn method, which has one of the longest history. Hepburn is commonly used for names so names on passport and Mt.Fuji are using Fu.

Fu is much more common. Hu is a remnant from an outdated system of Romanization.

The pronunciation is somewhere between "fu" and "hu," but is usually romanized "fu," as in "Mt Fuji."

I write fu, but it doesn't really matter. People put hu because it's grouped with ha, hi, he, ho.
