After a couple of years of looking finally found a job in an ideal city about five months ago. Saw an ad for what may be my dream job, a job I'm highly qualified for. I'm just worried about not being considered due to the short time I've been with my present company. Is there anything I might do to my resume to make it sound a little better, maybe a comment at the bottom? Thanks.

Don't say anything until the interview! At the interview tell them that the reason you are leaving your current position is that the new position is your dream job. They will be flattered I'm sure. Here's some advice on building a great resume...
You really only have the first 10 lines on a resume to get the readers attention enough to short list you. Meaning that hiring managers don't have the time to study the whole resume. They just want to know who they will call in for interviews. That's what the resume is for is to get an interview.
Use a summary at the top of the resume in point form which responds directly to the job requirements. For Ex. if the job requirement is "Must be experience in dream job" then your first bullet point in your summary would be "2+ years experience with dream job".
There is much more information at the link below.

Contact the new company about an interview and go over live .
So many resumes end up collecting dust or in file 13 .
If you're serious , go apply live & ask questions .
And do not bring it up at the current job ,
Unless you have a firm offer from the next one .

Good Luck

Honestly, most employers expect younger workers to change jobs several times in the first few years. Apply for it-don't badmouth your current job, and research your new company before you interview to show how interested you are.
Good luck!
