I don't think so. But sadly I still don't think there would be even without religion because I'm sure everyone would find something else to fight about. Maybe it would be more peaceful, but not peace.

Yes... I think religion and peace are compatible if governments are wise enough to establish sets of laws that restrain religions from undermining it's authority.

Some religions are very politically aggressive; Judaism, Islam and Christianity are the most obvious examples of this, and these religions may require specific government controls upon them or internal religious changes before a reasonable peace can be expected to have a chance to last.

Peace , complete peace amongst every individual will never happen, anything (including religion) that segregates us into seperate groups will cause hostility.

No religion evokes war and violence, even the most controversial Islam. Only its followers and preachers makes diverse interpretations to the word of God to serve their personal interests.

yes if people truly follow their religious teachings. No any religion teaches violence against people of other religions.

But religious people try to force people of other religions to convert them. Because they think only their religion is the right one. That is the biggest problem.

A lot of people need religion like water to quench their thirst... so, no... but I'd like to have peace nevertheless.

While there are intolerant religious fanatics that believe only they have the true understanding of God and only people that believe what they do, go to heaven while eveyone else must go to hell and it is their right to try and save you, I seriously don't think so.
