No, I certainly do not know what planet God lives on, but we do believe that the place that he lives has a name. That does not mean we know where.

The first time I heard that from was an anti-Mormon. And the only people who keep insisting we believe that are people who have proudly claimed their calling from God is to destroy the Mormon church. That's really freightening.

But at church, I've never heard that. The quote the anti Mormons use is some obscure verse in scriptures concering some sort of celestial body called Kolob. It doesn't say anything that's where God dwells. In fact it's pretty clear it's wasn't.

Anti Mormons (Like the ones that made that movie on youtube) try to make it seem as though it's the biggest part of our religion. The only reason it's even mentioned is to proove God is infinate. Other than that, it's a really small part of our church. It's mentioned once in our scriptures, and we have a hymn that mentions it. But that's really it. You won't hear anything about it usually in a Sunday school lesson.

God doesn't live on a planet anymore...God is in Heaven.

We believe that God is like man, with a physical body...

We believe that God has a God...his father. We believe that God went through exactly what we're going through. We believe that those who live righteous lives will be able to one day become like God and have children of their own and send them unto a planet, just like God has done with us, and the cycle will be repeated...

Everything God did for us, we will do for our children(if we're worthy) and our children who are worthy will do the same thing, and their children and their children.

We believe it's a constant cycle.

definite, and that i will guess you cash to donuts that mormons will skirt everywhere in the difficulty, then lean on their many paid apologist's comments----because of the fact they actually do no longer particularly understand precisely WHAT their own church prefers to have self belief at any given 2d..... thinking, the ideals exchange with each and each new LDS formally white oldest pope guy. the previous old white guy and what he claimed gets gently brushed aside, and placed interior the dusty vaults of time. humorous, the only one they have in no way completed that with is Joseph Smith. in the event that they shot him down, their complete faith might crumple around them. and that they would not in any respect DARE do. If no longer, they declare its "deep doctrine". Forgetting that the Lord says assorted cases throughout the bible that there's no longer something hidden from people who seek for after His coronary heart. Oops. Joseph Smith taught, that.... Joseph Smith stated this..... If he did no longer say it, in reality they have not got self belief it. He states interior the pearl of super value (yet another cobbled jointly "translated" e book of his, which grew to become out to be an Egyptian "Embalming for Dummies" treatise), that the mormon god bodily lives on a planet/famous person (based upon the mormon you're chatting with) stated as Kolob with the spouse (or different halves, based upon the mormon you're chatting with) and young ones. that is adequate for them. Swallow. Now there's a stable little robotic! and that they blindly assume us to easily swallow this one complete, like they do, without tasting, without examining, forgetting each little thing the Lord stated on the difficulty. that he's Spirit. God defines Himself. no longer Joseph Smith defines God. "Please tell me those are all slanderous lies against THE LDS Church, and that they at the instant are not authentic." properly, okey-dokey, then! Uh-huh. Sorry. i'm now no longer mormon. i will now no longer prepare "mendacity for the Lord".

We don't know really what God was like before He created this earth and all of us. But, we believe that we CAN be heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

Also, we do not know what the Celestial Kingdom is, where it is, or anyhing like that. Could be a planet, who knows?

No. The star closest to heaven has a name, but God doesn't live on it. Here is a site that answers all those questions and more.

Yes...the planet Kolob, which no astronomer has ever heard of.

Mormons also believe they will be gods of their own planet in the next life, which of course is far from Biblical.

God bless!
