I need a '35 mm SLR camera with a 50 mm lens, lens cover, manual or with manual override, built in light meter or handheld light meter, camera strap cable release, & a UV filter for your lens'.

I'm trying to buy this online and I'm clueless! I can't find anything; help me find it please?

Nikon still makes the FM10 if you need a new one. Or you can get an auto-focus camera and use it manually. Practically any of the Nikon or Canon bodies beyond the first entry level (in Nikon, that would be the N70, I believe) will have manual settings as well as program or auto. So you might consider Nikon N80, N90, or step up a bit and get an F100. The 50mm f:1.8 lens is easy to find used as well, but you can get a new one for around $100, the best bang for the buck in all photography. I'll let the Canon people make suggestions on their models, EOS would be a good bet there.

All totally manual 35mm cameras. All excellent learning tools.

Nikon FM-10 for $249. It comes with a nice 35-70mm zoom and all the manual controls any photo instructor would love.

As a professional photographer I would suggest KEH.com. It is probably your best choice in terms of quantity, quality and price of used cameras. Please check there first.

If you can't be bothered looking around and want to buy new - Nikon route (can't buy body-only, you end up with a 35-70mm zoom as well):

Body: http://www.adorama.com/NKFM10.html
Lens: http://www.adorama.com/NK5018AFDU.html
Release: http://www.adorama.com/NKAR3.html
UV Filter: http://www.adorama.com/TF52UV.html

This is by no means the cheapest alternative, you could alternatively go with used gear like this:
