its interesting how it would remind you of the afghan girl, although i edited the picture a bit and the child is Pakistani. :)

I just realized that the picture looks different on different computers.............the picture looks very harsh on my desktop computer and looks fine on my laptop.

Cute children, they both have striking eyes. The flash is too harsh and is overwhelming the skin tone and causing hot spots and lost highlights. Use your minus flash compensation, or tape a piece of tissue or paper over the flash to calm it down. Or learn to use available light.

Both are very clear and well focused. What type of camera did you use? The first one is off center but otherwise a fantastic shot. All in all great job.

The first one is a very sharp pic of your cousin. Very good. I like it a lot. The 2nd one just looks like a regular snap shot pic. Your cousins are both cute.

They have such amazing eyes.
Especially the first one.
I love how everything meshes together but the first photo is better because its more proffesional whereas the second one is more candid.
