Amazing how so many people want to bash Joel, but that just tells you that 1) they didn't listen to the whole snippet from the interview, and 2) they don't know too much because the interview hasn't even aired yet. So let's see...I'm a pastor, I believe in the Bible. I preach and teach from it. The Bible says homosexuality is wrong and a sin. I am asked if I think homosexuality is a sin. My choices are: A) Yes B) No I pick A because The Bible -- the book I preach and teach from -- says that it is. Instantly, I am a people basher. I'm sorry, was there a follow-up question that said "Joel, do you condemn or hate gay people (aka homosexuals)? Even though there was not this specific question, I answered it anyway. And still I am a people basher. Well Joel, I must say, if you are trying to be Christ-like, you are succeeding, because he went through hell on Earth no matter what he did too. But I look at it like this: let your haters be your motivators...and you're getting interviews on TV, you have some books, a pretty nice-sized following and you are generally nice to people. Oh, you smile a lot too. I think you should just keep doing what you are doing. Jealousy manifests itself in SO many ways.

As far as I know the church is non denominational. It is officially not part of any other group. It is like evangelical groups of similar theology but no official ties. If they have a web site it should verify this.

it's a Health / Wealth "non denominational" group of people only interested in a religion that will help them get an easy life fast, and people pay good money to sit and hear it

oddly, this makes Joel a rich man, self fulfilling prophet of materialism and happiness
