Why does god supposedly make such a fuss over atheists, and why are Christians so sure that god hates us and we are all doomed to hell. Sure, it says that in the Bible, but don't actions speak louder than words (or beliefs).

If a morally good person went through life helping others and being a good citizen, and had good intentions, but just happened to be an atheist, why would an all-loving god punish them because they didn't have the right beliefs. I think if there were a god, he/she/it would look more at the moral character of the person, rather than what they blindly believe in, right?

There are Christians who don't think the God they believe in hate you, and don't take the bible as meant to be literal. We are called Catholics.

That would defeat the whole purpose of Jesus dying on the cross. You seem to follow the belief of "Legalized Christianity." This is the belief that tends to make Gods love something to earn rather than to accept freely. This would reduce Christianity to a set of impossible rules and transform the Good News to something no one could live up to.

Most people DO want to do the right thing. But could you say that you have NEVER broken a Commandment? A true Christian knows that the 10 Commandments are good and holy and right. But, following the law can not make us acceptable to God. Fortunately, God has provided a way of salvation that depends of Jesus Christ, not our own efforts.

And you describe God as "all-loving." The Bible also includes that God is full of wrath.

That is your thinking and most other peoples thinking.
It is all about your faith and obedience in him. IF you commit a crime, you will go to jail and pay for it. God said to obey the laws of the land. Your fleshly body wants to do the things not of God. You have to fight those fleshly thoughts and live in the spirit for him. If you are a sinner and do the will of God, you will enter the kingdom of heaven before a Preacher that preaches false doctrine in God's name. God chose murders and thief's not religious leaders.

Why Jesus died For Us

He is our sacrificial lamb who shed his blood to cover your sins: past, present and future. If not he died at the cross in vain. He full filled (Luke 24: 44) and nailed the 10 commandments to the cross (Colossi ans 2:14). Christ did not die in vain (Galatians 2: 21). The spirit or the works of the law (Galatians 3: 2). Christ is the end of the law (Romans 10: 4). The law is our tutor no more (Galatians 3: 24 – 25). God will remember your sins no more (Hebrews 10:17). You are a sinner for life, there is nothing that you can do not to sin (1 john 1: 7 - 10). You can not go out into the world and do what ever you wish, just because Jesus covered your sins (Romans 6: 1 - 3). Hebrews 8: 7 – 13 (he wrote the laws into their hearts, so that you would know right from wrong.

If you have faith in Jesus and are obedient to God, then you are not under the 10 commandments.

If you do not believe in Jesus, then you are under the 10 commandments, now you need to bring your unblemished goat to the alter every year and sacrifice it to cover your sins but with Jesus, he is our new covenant.

You are justified by faith and not of your works

First God does not hate anyone and the Bible says that. He hates all evil actions of atheists and christians alike. The reason you must follow the one true God is that we have all sinned and all those good deeds could never make up for the sin we have done. Our sin condemns all of us to a life seperated from God, hell. However he loved us so much that he offers a way out. Jesus payed the blood debt we owe and has covered our sin. But because of the free will we possess that caused us to sin in the first place we can choose a life seperate from God now and forever. Aside from that it is a whole lot harder to be good without Gods help than with it. So ultimately if you choose not to believe you are not being punished for your unbelief but for the sin you were born with.

Your question indicates a common misapprehension about Christianity.

Christianity does not at all focus on being good. Christianity is all about a relationship with our Creator. We want to have a fellowship with the God who created us. God invites us to be His sons and daughters. Heaven is just a place where that can happen. Hell is just a place for those who want to be independent of God. Heaven is not the goal. God Himself is the only aim.

Christianity teaches that we seek God by trying to obey His command to love our neighbors for where love is, there God is also. So "being good" flows naturally from seeking God.

The Muslim faith got here approximately long after Christianity. They used different religions as a template to make it greater alluring to the loads they have been attempting to realize. you assert that each and every physique of those expenditures are from non-Islamic human beings, yet some are quoted from Islamic based books. Others that are actually not from those books are written by way of authors with Islamic names, and little doubt very stable Islamic impression. the relax comments are merely one guy's opinion. human beings prepare Scientology too, and have great things to assert approximately L. Ron Hubbard as an author, does that make his faith genuine?

Wrong! He has given you opportunity after opportunity to believe in him and you continue to turn him away. You have to believe in him or he doesn't believe in you. Treat others as you want to be treated. If your a good citizen that's great for this world but the only way to God and his kingdom is through his son Jesus Christ, no ifs, ands, or buts.GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS!!!

Holiness is in right actions and goodness to the earth and everything in it including our fellow humans. -Actions speak louder than words. What we choose to do everyday conciously, makes us good people or bad. These things translate into reverence to Him and respect as well as love. God loves all of us, we show our love back by doing what is right in His sight and in worsship and praise to Him.

What you believe controls your moral character..
God is inviting people into his kingdom and you have to accept him as King. He is the boss. Just like work.
You can't take a job and do it the way you want to, you have to do what the boss wants.

Unless you are a Christian you won't know what moral character God requires in his kingdom. You will be doing what YOU think is right and not what HE says is right..

There are NO morally good people on Earth, Jesus was the only one that ever lived.

You think that you are going to enter into a country where you don't even believe in the King, guess again.
