To live in the time of Moses, or of Noah, or Lot, or any other major events in the bible...or to live in the time of Jesus himself...

I often think about how cool it would be to build a time machine and go back to Israel and just go up to Him and start talking in English, and then having Him speak back to me in English...I just think that would be amazing.

Have you ever thought about going back and meeting people like Jesus or Abraham or Jacob?

You think it would be cool to live back then? Don't be fooled by the stories of people living hundreds of years. The average age of Jesus's time was in the mid to late 20s. No conveniences of any kind. Animals and people living together.

I love our current time, wars and theocracy notwithstanding.

Heck no, Buddy boy! Those days were full of disease like leporacy!

Meeting Jesus would ruin everything, too. You know he had long hair and wore a dress, right?

I think Jesus was from Scottland. That's why he turned everything to wine! He was a drunken homosexual!

There are a more than a few of us who are well aware of the Theist deep desire to go back and live in the dark ages. It is pretty obvious.

These may be nice dreams, but there are as many challanges today. Consider all the missionaries serving in China, or other parts of Asia or Africa

The heck with meeting those people. Go back and saddle up a Triceratops.

You DO realize that all of those characters are mythical/fictional... right? You'd do just as well going back in time, expecting to meet Captain Hook. Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle.
