He just thinks people who believe in God are delusional.
Thinks of himself as an ordinary guy. Ever tried talking with him?

Sorry, but he does not.
Atheism means lacking belief for gods. How can he believe that he is one? Dawkins is an evolutionary biologist trying to debate religious claims that represent the real world with a small set of stories, and using his grounding in science.
Some people may believe his form of debating is arrogant, but that does not make his argument groundless. I think many people oppose the intense debate of religion, and perceive skepticism as arrogant because it claims superiority over the "logic of the divine." That, of course, is a farce when there is no evidence for the supernatural.

I think you know better than that. He does not believe there is any such entity as God at all, so he certainly is not claiming to be God himself. On the contrary. His argument (and mine) is that we cannot afford such irrational thinking in the 21st century. Faith is dangerous, it makes people do things they would otherwise realize are wrong. And it distorts a person's concept of reality to the extent that they cannot function normally in the modern world.
Faith is basically belief in the absence of evidence, or even in the face of evidence to the contrary. We would not accept such a standard in any other area of our lives, so why should we tolerate it in religious questions, which are so very important to so many people?

I don't believe Richard Dawkins exists. Just because there's a book doesn't prove anything.
It could be allegory and myth.

There is a big difference between not believing in god and thinking you are god. By your argument, if you do not believe in Santa Claus you think you are Santa Claus.

No, why? He's just a guy who happens to not believe in god. Do you think he's some kind of elitist or something? He writes books on atheism, what's wrong with that?
