My personal saying is "Liquor Before Beer, You Can't Steer" ... "Beer Before Liquor, Just A Little Less Quicker" (in regards to getting sick).

I've never heard the first saying before, but have often heard the second one. But if you think about it, both sayings are 'saying' the same thing.....that beer before whiskey is "mighty risky" or will make you "never sicker".

beer before liquor never been sicker, liquor before beer your in the clear. Best advise is to not mix them at all because it is a recipe for disaster either way. Just remember don't drink to much. The bible does say that it is alright to do it while celebrating but not to get inebriated(way to drunk) or become dependent on it.
just remember that beer is very foamy and if you drink it first then drink liquor then all the foam is likely to come up.

I'd say the second one is correct. If you mix your drinks, and I don't mean with sodas and such.... you end up praying to the porcelain god. Not a pretty picture.
