sounds to me that you are off to a good start.

read everyday something for at least 1/2 hour, it will help you with your grammar, and, your thought process.

dress as a lady, feminine, dont be showing things that should be left to the imagaination. wearing skirts is very flattering to a young and older lady.

expect to be treated as a lady, do not let anyone use bad language in your presence.

wear very little foundation, but always have lip stick on no matter what. be very simple with your eye make up as well.

be kind to everyone, and think before you speak.

and giggle, its a young ladies right!

Rather than try to put it all in an answer here, the best advice I can think of is to rent some old movies, watch how the ladies move, dress, speak, sit, drink, etc. You can really get a good idea of lady-like behavior from them. Rent the old ones - from the 40's and 50's - back then, they had censors for the movies, and if it was considered naughty, it didn't get in the film. Also, read etiquette books - like Emily Post, or Miss Manners. Good luck!

Read as much as you can on etiquette and manners. They are bringing back what we used to call "Charm" schools where you will learn the basics in a 6 week course. Take extra grammar courses and don't use slang, swear words, or even contractions. Be mindful of your body language, speak softly not screeching, and enunciate always. Well spoken people are always in demand. Proper dress is not boring. Think Ralph Lauren.

There are many Charm schools and private tutors that teach classes on etiquette and proper speaking in public. They are most experienced in the preparation of young girls becoming debutantes when they are announced to society. Good Luck Gigi

There are many sites that discuss etiquette on the web. Wikipedia has links to many. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etiquette
as the others have stated, charm school is a good resource.
