They won't ship until they've received payment. If they accept checks and you paid that way, they'll wait until it clears. It also depends on the method in which they ship and the distance. Media mail is the slowest method and can take 2 weeks. Sometimes in the listing, they'll say that they ship within a day or two of cleared payment. Otherwise, you can always ask them. Be aware though that not all sellers would appreciate a buyer asking them when they'll get their item. It can be perceived as impatience. The rule of thumb with ebay is don't buy anything that you HAVE to have by a certain time. Sellers are required to ship item out within 30 days per the FTC. Most ship more quickly than that, though. If you paid by paypal, they have 7 days to be protected through paypal.

Oh, oh, oh I am an EBay freak!!!! I have had good and bad experiences with people sending stuff. Make sure you use Pay Pal to pay for your purchases. They'll be right there for you if you don't received the item. As soon as you pay the seller is supposed to send out the item. If you have waited more than 14 days than click back on the item and EM the seller. The first bad experience of mine was when I bought my Son a comforter set. It wasn't cheap but it took three months to get and I didn't get what I ordered. The buyer was stopped from selling and since I didn't know about Pay Pal then I was up a creek without a paddle. The second time I bought an old stamp. That one took forever but Pay Pal helped me out. The last time was that I bought another comforter set from a reputable retailer and the box came with the shams, dust ruffle but no comforter. They fixed that too.
You probably don't want to hear my horror stories but I have bought hundreds of items on EBay and have loved 99.9% of them. It's a lot of fun and a good way to find obscure and different stuff.
Sorry to have rambled for so long but I LOVE EBay!!!

Each seller is different, most sellers put the information of their shipping times in the auction details. They have to ship within seven days to be covered by paypal.
Check the listings or ask the seller

It relies upon completely on the place the shipper is and the place you're. united statescan take longer in case you (or the shipper) isn't close to a conventional sorting midsection. undergo in concepts that maximum sellers on Ebay are no longer expert companies. they have not got comprehensive transport centers at their disposal. So the vendor could be alongside with interior the time to get the object packed and shipped, that can upload an afternoon or 2. besides, the undeniable fact which you got on a FRIDAY, ability that the vendor won't be waiting to get TO a united statesoffice until Monday, for that reason including in a pair of days there too. 4-6 days isn't unreasonable whilst dealing on Ebay.
