It does not affect her normal life style, but I am sure it does disturb the classroom, it goes on all day, but she sleeps fine. huh huh, or a loud hicup, thats the best way I can discribe it...

Has she seen a doctor about this? It might be a nervous tic that can be treated.

It could be Tourettes syndrome. Although people with Tourettes syndrome usually have facial tics as well as vocal tics, sometimes the facial tics are too mild to be noticed. Your child may have a very mild form of Tourettes. It is good that you recognize that she cannot control it. Here is a link with some more information.

Sounds like mild tourettes.

Talk to your pediatrician.
