I'm an extremely good worker, although maybe a little assertive at times. My manager used to be really nice, but now, she bitches at me anytime I approach her. Twice in the last 2 days, I approached her for something I could only ask her, and no other worker, and she yelled at me, saying HELLO, go ask someone else (this isnt something I can ask any other manager or should know myself).

I got so mad today that I got a headache, and told her I had to leave a few hrs early.

Sheesh...why do bosses think they can humiliate workers, and in front of others? I wasnt trying to annoy her, and she didnt seem busy!

Maybe she has a close relative sick or dying? maybe her husband lost his job? Maybe she is bipolar? Could be anything. If she was nice before, then SOMETHING has changed in her life, recent,y...most likely. Don't take it so personally. If you wnat to know, tell her you want to schedule a meeting with her and explain (NICELY) that she seems a little stressed lately and is there anything you can do to help...YES, it IS unprofessional to snap at you in front of co-workers, but she is only human...maybe she just needs someone that cares.

Your perception of the boss being busy or not ,
is Not necessarily reality .
You do Not see even a fraction of what happens in their circle .

If you want to survive in the business world ,
Stop thinking everything is about you and respect it
When some says , " Not now , I'm busy or Ask someone else " .
Thinking it is to humiliate you , is totally clueless .

Business world is not a good place to act like a 14 yr old .
Being hypersensitive is a job killer .

She's not going to change. Only the situation can change - by you no longer working there. That's your solution, short of lowering yourself by engaging in workplace politics like conspiring and building alliances against her, going over her head, trying to manipulate her, etc. Eventually those tactics will have you out the door, too, and not on your own terms. Start planning your next career move. Control your career, don't let it control you.

Maybe she's PMSin. That's no excuse for her behavior of course. So... file a complaint with her manager. As a manager, she should be a little more professional and always keep in mind the laws relating to employee harassment.

Im so sorry you had this happen.. No manager has a right to talk to their employee like that.. Especially in front of others.. She must have a boss you can contact... Report her.. If it continues.. look for another job or contact your labor board..

Go above her head, she has no right to treat you with such disrespect. If all else fails, look for work elsewhere. Good luck and God bless****
