1.administrative--pertains to management or performance of a function ("Mary was an administrative assistant for her boss.")

administration--management of an office, business, or organization. If shown as Administration, it refers to the executive branch of government ("President Bush's Administration will end in 2008.")

relate---to give an oral account of happenings, events, or circumstances. ("The witness had to relate the events of Tuesday night to the court.").

related--past tense of above; or to be associated with, connected to , or allied by origin, family, marriage, etc. ("Mary is related to me as a cousin." )

relevant--bearing upon or connected with the matter at hand ("a relevant remark"); appropriate, fitting ("She performed experiments relevant to her research.")

2. administrative would work best in the sentence you used.

Hi Sky,

1) The basic difference it that administrative is an adjective, ie a decribing word and administration is a noun, ie a name word.

2) Administation is the subject we are discussing and you just asked an adnlinstrative question, ie a quetsion about administration.
3) A father is related to his daughter (ie blood ties), but there is no relevance involved. However, if we were discussing human relationships then that is a relevant statement, because the statement is related to "human relationships" and says how they are related but has no relveance to anything else unless it is futher specified.

1. Administrative is an adjective. Administration is a noun.
2. Typically, an administrative job is any job where you are in control of other people. A job in administration usually requires an advanced degree and is typically higher paying job that is focalized in a certain area.
Examples:
A job as Manager of a Mcdonald's is an administrative job
A job as the Principal of a School is a job in administration
