I'm not sure maybe it has to do with something with the HDTV receiver. It probably made the picture lower. Try disconnecting it and see if it is. If it is call the company to help you. If it isn't I'm not sure. Well good luck with it

No, you do no longer % cable inevitably. What you will % is the two a series that's digital-in a position, or a converter field to make is so. The stations will stop broadcasting analogue indicators, and could replace over to all-digital declares, and your television will might desire to be waiting to guard those. i do no longer understand the cost of a converter field, yet I truly have a droop that it is going to be extra straightforward and extremely almost as decrease priced (if not extra decrease priced) to purchase a clean television. Edit: Your question have been given me thinking (risky, i understand...), so I appeared on superb purchase's information superhighway internet site, and located a sturdy HD "educational." that is on the link below; click on the "abode Theater source midsection" link below the photographs of the 4 TVs on the suited of the internet site. The link pops up a window from CNET, who I truly have discovered to be respected and sturdy interior the previous, so which you're actually not in simple terms getting stuff from superb purchase attempting to sell you something. I additionally observed a HD adapter on Circuit city's information superhighway internet site for about $a hundred and fifty, and the linked antenna (additionally mandatory) for about $25. If I have been going to spend that a lot, i could in simple terms pass forward and purchase a clean television, yet anybody has distinctive desires.

If you have an HDTV receiver, not all channels are HD. Actually, 95% of your channels are only 480i or 480p. If you have HD service, then you should be able to access your HD channels.

I have Comcast and my HD channels are in the 700's. If you have HD service, you will have minimum 10 HD channels. You may have more, if you subscribe to movie channels.

It all depends how the set-top box is configured.
Go to the set-top box setup and specify
a) That you have a 16:9 TV
b) You want the output to be either 1080i or 720p

Make sure you have an HD program on and try again.
