I have a cute next door neighbor named Cameron. I'm 13 and so is he, and we've introduced ourselves, so we've actually really only talked once. He's not out too often and when he is, I make sure I'm out there too, but I think he's shy. He never says hi to me and I'm way too shy! How can I talk to him? If I can just get his screen name it would be easier. Plus I have a REALLY big crush on him and I know he likes me because I heard his brother say to him the other night, "Oh, Mary, Mary, Mary!" (Which is my name by the way.) :) Please help!

To answer your question, yes you have the ability to talk to your next door neighbor without being shy.
The best way to get to know anyone when you feel hesitant is to treat them like anyone else you're just meeting and to ask them questions about themself.
Ask him stuff like:
1.) Where he moved there from.
2.) Where he used to go to school and what his favorite classes are.
3.) What he likes to do for fun.
4.) How many brothers and sisters he has.
5.) If he likes to do fun things like play sports, do artistic things, and if he plays a musical instrument.
6.) Ask him who else he talks to in your neighborhood that you both may know.
All of these questions are not too personal or threatening for him to answer. However, the most important thing for you to remember is to listen to what he is telling you when you ask him a new question and to pay attention to his actions.
You also want to allow him some time and room in-between asking him questions, so he can ask you some things about yourself as well.
This should allow you to learn a little bit about him and to determine if he is interested in getting to know you better, which you should be able to tell if he spends some time talking to you and asking you questions about yourself.

whow.Just speak to the guy. Start with 'hi Cameron, how are you?' like just start a conversation. Nothing serious. But do NOT let him know how you feel at the moment. Just act natural and see how it goes.
