My heart beats so fast that I think I'm dying and its hard to fall asleep cause I dont like the fact that I have no control in my sleep and I fight my sleep a lot. I feel like someone who's getting euthanize...slowly fading away...but fighting to survive. My psych put me on Trazadone...but now I wake up hearing voices/noises when everyone's asleep. I know...I'm crazy in your eyes...but seriously I need help. My psych isnt listening to me.

I had the same feelings when I was younger, I think it has to do with your body when you are growing? I know how it feels --> like you are struggling to stay alive and holding your breath and you finally wake up. It might be sleep apnea, ask your psychiatrist what he thinks. It's a wierd feeling but I know what you are going through, my brother has also described the same feelings. It feels like you are dying in your sleep and you can't wake up.

Get off the trazadone and get a decent sleeping pill. Your sleep is SO important to healthy mental health. Are you on other pills...that could cause this feeling at sleep? Check with your psych...if you don't like their answers...change docs.

If the Trazadone is not working, then you need to demand something else! No one should have to go through what you do..and NO, I do not think you are crazy!

Here is a web site where you can see the side effects of this drug http://www.trazadone.net/side-effects.html

If you are not getting satisfaction from your psychologist or psychiatrist, you can and should find another. A GP can prescribe you meds in the mean time. You are possibly having a bad reaction to this drug, obviously it is not working for you. Stop taking it and find another doctor.

Your probably afraid of death and had a bad experience at some point in your life. Consult another psych. See what they have to say,

If this doctor is not listening, find another one. You're not crazy because you made perfect sense in explaining how you feel.
