I received a lot of emails saying that I couldn't get pregnant so I had no business talking about killing children and abortion. According to this line of thought does this mean that if I saw someone about to kill a child on the street I should do nothing because I can't get pregnant?

Just because you can't get pregnant doesn't mean you can't save the lives of pre-born children threatened with abortion! People who say you have no business talking about that probably are thinking "a woman should have the right to do with her own body what she wants." However, it's not her own body. The pre-born baby is a unique life, even though, for a time, he or she is dependent on the mother's body for sustenance. You are right - it's really no different from trying to save the life of a child on the street. Keep standing up for life!

By the way, they do feel pain -

Muslims do not have this problem of abortion. This is not an issue in our countries.

Once a man asked Prophet Muhammad, ' can I take measures so my slave girl doesn't get pregnant. Those days slavery wasn't abolished. Prophet replied, ' if God wants to send a soul in your family, nothing you do will stop that soul coming in your family'. If God doesn't want to bless you with a child, nothing you do will bring you a child. Neither did he say that you can nor he said you can not use measure to stop the pregnancy.

Either Prophet said, or it is written in Quran (one of them is definitely correct) that soul enters in the fetus after pregnancy completes four months. Therefore if women have abortion before four months, they do not really kill a soul. Therefore abotions are neither legal nor illegal in most Muslim countries.

There is a statement of God in Quran saying that every soul I send to earth, I will feed it. Do not kill children for fear of starvation. This is not about abortion. It is about killing the live children from hunger. Therefore some people look down at those who have abortion to limit their children. But no legal action is ever taken against them. As education is increasing and life is becoming more and more expensive, fewer people frown at those who have lesser children.

I don't care if you are a guy, you can discuss abortion! It's not like it's against the law!

I agree with Chris

Also, I don't care what ANYONE says, abortion is MURDER! There isn't a difference between a baby in the womb, and a baby in a mother's arms! When you abort a baby, you just ruined it's chance at life. Because of you, the child will never grow up, get married, have kids, or anything. That is murder!

Just put it up for adoption if you don't want it, don't kill it!
It's kinda your fault for sleeping with the guy anyway.

This, to me, is the defining and tragic difference between seeing the value of life as God does, and the horrible blindness of the self-serving.
How can anyone say that a two-minute old fetus is not a human life, and therefore a life being halted, being taken, by abortion?
it is spiritual blindness by the very parents of that life, and Satan's own work that must be rejected.
Two minutes after conception or 90 years old, it is a human life.

You can ask about abortion. It is a touchy subject because some people have had abortions. They have tried to excuse themselves & don't want to be judged.

If you are against abortion & for the child in the womb to have a right to life, then the pro choice people can be pretty nasty.

Happy kid, My daughters nurse friend had to attend an abortion clinic abortion. The baby was still alive & having seizures. Don't write that the baby didn't feel anything. The nurse felt awful & had to leave. Then the other girls waiting were asking which time this was for them. One was on her 7th abortion, the other was only on her 4th.

Hello David.. :)

You like everyone of us has a right to say what is on their heart.. :)

How many would be here writing in favor of abortion..if they had parents, that did not want them.. :(

The answer is NONE..because they would have been aborted.. :(

Please just think on this..before you say it is ok.. :(

Also as for a fetus not being alive..then why does the dictionary state this:

1 : the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the """death""" of the embryo or fetus..

A fetus has to first be alive, to be able die.. :(

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With ~Love~ your "Friend" In Christ.. :)

That is ridiculous. Maybe you can't get pregnant, but women can't get pregnant without males somewhere in the picture. So why can't males have just as much right about the discussion?

Do you agree with capital punishment and war? If so, does your concern for human life end when the baby is born or when they reach a certain age?
I would never have an abortion. I am also against the death penalty and war. My beliefs are consistent.

Friend- animals also feel pain, so I can assume you are a vegetarian, right?

A heart-beating fetus is a child...I do not believe in abortion. And inflaming us to argue with you is not going to work!
