i think that in the past , we have had more personal money. The economy is tighter / people are losing jobs and people just can't afford to keep paying someone elses way.

It is one thing to immigrate legally and another to do illegally. Illegal immigrants need to become legal or go home. They must pay their own share of taxes / services.

It's also insulting for some of the mexican illegal immigrants to come here and form these stupid la raza organizations. I seriously think they are a threat / type of terrorist that needs to be handled by our government. If you come to a country / there is nothing wrong with speaking your own language / preserving your heritage. You should also learn English and do not expect to come here and ask us to learn Spanish . I think it is a lot of nerve.

There is also a large population of Indians that are here illegally.

I would like to see our government make it less desirable to live here illegally. Also , at the same time, to make it easier to immigrate here legally. We need good citizens that are willing to pay fair share of taxes and not be involved in crimes. A blend of immigrants is what makes us America. We are accepting but will not be taken advantage of .

For me, no, it's not a popularity thing. I get irritated because it is getting real crowded, there are enough people here already. I also get irritated at those who abuse the generosity of our country. It's not really the fault of the immigrants who are coming here legally either, the policies of immigration were changed years ago and they are too lenient now, allowing too many immigrants in. This land can only sustain so many people and the government has screwed up royally on this.

Yes its the trendy strategy to believe and thats why persons are irritated. About eighty percentage of the persons which are irritated approximately it are republicans and the best way they get persons to believe approximately all of the unhealthy matters that experience occurred on this nation considering that 2001 is guilty the illegals. Illegal immigrants are the scapegoats for the Republican occasion.

You know there are two groups LEGAL immigrants and illegals. As a LEGAL immigrant, I do not wish to be placed in the same boat as an illegal. I have followed the US immigration law to come here, unlike illegals.

We are all immigrants or decendants of immigrants. I believe your problem lies in the fact that you fail do differentiate between legal and illegal imigrants. I care less who comes here to live and prosper as long as they do it legally. As for illegals they should all be deported immediately and imprisoned for life if they ever return illegally.

I'm not angry at immigrants, my husband is an immigrant (legal of course). But he and I don't want illegal aliens in our country. It has nothing to do with "immigrants".

I assume you are talking illegal immigrants.

It has nothing to do with popularity. It has everything to do with the numbers. ANd the numbers are now outrageous and out of control.

No that is not the reason. We are angry at illegal immigrants, you left the most important word out of your question. But, you did that intentionally correct?

It's become a hot topic because of recent attempts in congress to legitimize them.
Oh ... I see you are one of those who refuses to differentiate between legal and illegal... almost got me to fall into your trap!
