and we just got a r&c demo, it says "the software system of your PS3™ system is version 1.51, to start, you must update to versio n 1.82 or later, do you want to update? yes or no"
i tried both and its not working, what do i do?

i fixed it, i dont have internet for ps3. ratchet and clank demo was easy.

It's very easy to update PS3 OS by downloading update on flash or PSP memory and plugging it into PS3.

Try downloading the softare from the playstation site from your computer using a thumb drive or memory stick and plug it in the ps3 after.

If you are not connected to the internet with the ps3 then update to your computer and burn the update on a cd then use that to update the ps3. on your pc ---Goto http://us.playstation.com then select ps3 then goto the bottom right and select system update..
