Despite the legions of well meaning but misinformed people who think you can, you actually can't 'spot reduce'. By that I mean that you can't reduce fat from a specific place on your body by targeting that area with exercise.

When you lose fat, your body loses fat from all over the body. Each body is slightly different in how and where it stores fat and quite simply your body shape is your body shape (which is perfect for you by the way).

You can lose fat and the most efficient way to do that is to slowly increase the amount of cardio exercise you do and slowly make healthy adjustments to your eating habits.

Doing leg exercises like lunges (which by the way are excellent for strength training) may actually increase the size of your thighs.

do you weight train?
if you do, you might be lifting too heavy. try to keep your reps in the 12-15 range.

if you don't workout, then oh well,
funny thing i have a friend named kelsi and she's blond too and she has muscular legs. they look good though, you don't need to slim them down
