I'll go with Spiderman. One of the things I love most about the web-slinger is that he always gives of himself. I can recall in just about every spidey comic I read Spidey had to make the hard decision between doing what Peter Parker wanted and his responsibility as your friendly neighborhood spiderman. So often he put his life on the line for people who didn't appreciate him. (sounds familiar)

Daredevil, I've only seen the movie but it is very good. A blind lawyer by day and a karate master, suit wearing, cane wielding, still blind as a bat death defying daredevil by night.

Though he is blind he still knows a reality exists out there and because of his blindness to the material world learns how to sense things on a much deeper level making all the more effective. I guess I find his approach very meditative culminating awareness and compassion.
