Sin is a heavy burden. It brings the tenseness of guilt and the anguish of knowing that we have acted against the will of our Father in Heaven. It brings lingering remorse as we realize that because of our actions, we may have hurt others and prevented ourselves from receiving blessings our Father has been ready to give us.
Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can receive forgiveness for our sins through sincere and complete repentance. Sinfulness brings suffering and pain, but the Lord's forgiveness brings relief, comfort, and joy. The Lord has promised:
"Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more."
"Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
We can experience this miracle, whether we need to repent of serious sins or day-to-day weaknesses. Just as the Savior pleaded with people anciently, He pleads with us today:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
"Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
"For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
"Will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you?
"Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me."

If you repent to god and really try to turn over anew leaf will he forgive you?
True Statement.
What if you worship a god who doesn't have power to forgive you. Jesus himself was the miraculous creation of Father the real God who created this universe and every thing in it.
There is no such thing as God incarcerating in a human.
Because Moses insisted to see God so He showed
Himself on mountain and it burned into ashes. Jesus fell conscious and couldn't see God. If God incarcerate into a man, wouldn't he burn into ashes?
Man's body is not able to contain real God. Believing Jesus as God is absolutely wrong. If Jesus said,
"I am son of God, or I am the God', then show me where in the King James Bible it is written in clear words. I have the copy to look in and a verify. Tell me the page numbers.
May God (the real God) show you the right path so you can follow the real God and enter the real heaven and not the imaginary one.

Yes God will forgive you. You stated you went to confession, did you receive absolution from the priest? If so then you are forgiven. Remember
Jesus entrusted his Church with the power of forgiving sins through this most wonderful sacrament. The priest is simply the one who acts in persona Christi (in the person of Christ) in the confessional, but it is our Lord who forgives our sins. The priest grants absolution (sets us free from our sins) using the power Jesus entrusted to his Church. It is through Christ, however, that our sins are forgiven.
Didache:
"Confess your sins in church, and do not go up to your prayer with an evil conscience. This is the way of life" (4:14 [as early as A.D. 70]).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Didache:
"On the Lord's Day gather together, break bread, and give thanks, after confessing your transgressions so that your sacrifice may be pure" (14:1).

Oh, man - you are blessed!
Your heart has turned to God - Read Matthew Chapter 5 - that is you!
He has ALREADY forgiven you!! Look ahead and do not look back. Celebrate what God is going to do for you in this life because he is going to do alot. Lay yourself down before him (He who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted). Follow God through all that happens and you will have a great life in him.

You can follow all Laws in the Bible, but you can not be saved by following the law. You can not save yourself. Only those who hear the story of Christ, and respond with acceptance, humility & repentance will be saved. Jesus died on the cross for your sins.
You will sin again, and you will repent again. You are only human. God has already forgiven you.

"Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Isaiah 55:6,7

Most Christians assume that God has forgiven them just as soon as they are able to forgive themselves. It's one of the advantages of imaginary friends.
