Your name here -- the verse you are referring to is 1 Corinthians 13:13.

The Corinthian -- You chose a good chapter. There are so many good verses within that chapter that explain other Bible truths, such as verse 6 where Jesus said that he had made his Father in the heaven's name manifest. Funny how many people today refuse to use that name that Jesus held so dear, and many don't even know what it is, as brought out in the Bible scrolls.

[ All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. ] The Holy Bible (NIV) Acts 4:32-35

1 Corinthians chapter 3:10 I think is is, that says..

"and three remains: Faith, hope, and love. But the greatest is love."

I am not sure if that is word for word, nor am i sure that it is chapter 3 verse 10, but it is a very touching verse.

Rom 8:28 is probably my favorite. It applies so well to life and whatever happens to us. Everything, good or bad, works for the good of those who love Him -- it is encouraging and "down to earth", so to speak; it confirms that God is not an entity out there, but is involved in our everyday life and knows exactly what we go through. It gives tremendous hope.

God bless.

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity." - Jer. 29:11-14
