Papabill, thanks for the reminder!!! I was racking my brains trying to remember who had the all female crew. I remember seeing them at Springfield back in the mid/late 80's.

I don;t know of any in the Cup series. There has been a female (Nicole Addison) pit crew member in the Truck series for the past 2 or 3 seasons. She's with the #10 team this year.

They tried a whole woman pit crew with Shawna Robinson's team when she drove the #49 BAM Racing car a few years ago. It wasn't a very good move, as it seemed they hadn't been practicing together long, and I think it lasted 1 race.

I was trying to think of something that would make me regain interest in Nascar. An all female pit crew would do it!
But then there is the thing about having to wear protective clothing, which is exactly the opposite of what is needed to spice it all up.

there has been a couple in the truck circuit, I think I saw one in the busch series this yr or it could have been a guy with a long pony tail...hey I've worked many weekends on my cousins modified car out here in calif on the dirt tracks, yeah I like getting dirty.. Gals can do it they are given a chance.. But as far as nextel cup..I doubt it, or they have not mentioned it on TV, and you think they would, this would be NEWS..

Yes,sort of.In the 80's Bill Venturini had an all female pit crew
though in the ARCA circit he did have a full crew of females.

yes, there are a couple tire specialist i believe one works with the 25 car in nascar.
I have a friend that is a tire specialist for the 88 car in the busch series.

yes, remember Shawna Robinson car #49, she had girls, and they weren't very good but, either was she!
