No way!!! Have you ever been tagged by one of those paint balls? They leave welts the size of goose eggs! NOT a toy, or something to give to children as a toy!

My kid knows someone the same age that has one, and he is a little bully. 10 years old, the kid has everything, and he shoots his friends with paintballs. They can put out eyes and cause other damage. They are not toys for kids. I don't allow my son to play with this little mean kid, but he lives down the street from one of my son's friends, so they do come into contact with him and his sidekick.
My rule is that if it shoots anything out of it, then it is not for anyone under 10 to use. But a paintball gun is too powerful of an "adult toy"

It is a toy. It is meant to tag others in the games as in other sports.
Is a tackle in football meant to knock down the opponent a lethal weapon event? No. It is a contact sport.
In organized paint ball events, if a player uses his own frozen paint balls, he is ejected from the event and banned from returning.
Dart games can be dangerous if the dart is not thrown at the bulls eye target.
If a paint ball is targeting a non-player, it might be considered an assault and/or battery unless there is a provocation or such.

I actual have actual mixed thoughts approximately this undertaking. Airsoft weapons are in essence "toys" that do shoot actual, albeit very low capability "bullets" (plastic BB's). If Airsoft is someones *basically* exposure to firearms, then I say they're a foul element to ascertain firearms safety. in the event that they're basically element of someones exposure to firearms, and that guy or woman is mature adequate to understand the version, then I say they do little harm. even although I understand why human beings experience in a various way here. average in spite of the undeniable fact that, even although i in my opinion owned an Airsoft gun i'm no longer a fan - if the sole undertaking is firearms safety in maximum situations.

if its some old guy using it to shoot at kinds that walk by his yard then no its not a toy i concider that to be a weapon and he can be charged for it.
now if the kid had 1 too and they were wearing the proper safety gear then yea i would call it a toy and harmless fun.

i think it depends on how it is used. if you took it into a burger king and demanded the cashier give you money i would think it would be the same as threatening with a real gun. as the average person doesn't really handle guns / be able to identify what they are.
