Ok so two days ago, my husband was at work, my daughter was at dance class, and my son was at baseball practice. So I am cleaning out the house. I go up to my daughters bedroom to clean it. She had 3 barbie dolls and 2 american girl dolls in the middle of her bedroom. I pick them up and put them in her toy trunk. I make her bed, and go downstairs. As I am cleaning the dishes, and I am about to go upstairs again, I couldn't believe it. Right in front of the bottom of the stairs were my daughters dolls, lined up. I freaked and ran out of the house until my husband got home. He didnt believe me. This also happened another time. My daughter was in bed with her dolls next to her. I said goodnight, and went to bed. My husband was away on a business trip. The next morning I wake up really early, and my daughters dolls are next to me. I'm like what the bloody hell, so I go downstairs. My daughter comes up to me later and says "where are my dolls mom?"
Do I have living dolls in my house?

Also, I want you to know that this IS true. This is not a lie. I swear to god. I am afraid of my house, litterly.

All right, I've seen this before. The dolls' names are Chucky and Tiffany; both are quite murderous.
I advise you to find a book called "Voodoo For Dummies" and to study it quickly. You'll have to invoke Damballa! Good luck.

okay, i have some really good advice. :P i like these questions. DO NOT MOVE! that's the dumbest thing to do. up rooting you're family over a ghost. And unless it's you're daughter playing tricks on you, it is a ghost. dolls don't just come alive!! Get a close friend or somebody who you're close to so that you don't feel like an idiot calling out a spirit! lol. Go in you're daughters room and just talk to it. put some dolls on the floor and ask it to move them for confirmation. then tell it that its dead, and it can move on to heaven now. and if it dont work call TAP's. they wont get rid of it but they'll be able to tell you whats going on. and you'll be on tv.. thats a plus :P Also go to you're local library. look up in old newspapers to see if someone died in your house. if this is the case it was probably a little girl (i.e the dolls.. lol) gOoD luck!

It doesn't sound like anything to be afraid of. Sounds like you have a prankster from another side there with you. It actually may be a child that enjoys playing with your daughters dolls. The dolls are not alive so don't worry about that. As long as there is nothing else happening then you have nothing to worry about.

Interesting. Sounds like you have a dweller, outside your realm. I don't really have any experience with ghost or such, but do believe it's possible.
So I'd say you have a ghost, it sounds friendly, so as long as it isn't displaying violent activities, I would just ignore it. No sense in trying to explain to your daughter. Not just yet anyway.

I don't think you have living dolls, but you may have a ghost or poltergeist. Let the ghost move thew dolls around. (S)he isn't hurting anything. Call TAPS if it really starts getting scary.

He's your EX boyfriend, so don't bother yourself how the guy's brains work. It sounds to me as if he doesn't have much brain to start with, to be absolutely honest

Could be a poltergeist since you have a young girl in your house. They seem to be attracted to them. Don't worry, they won't hurt you and eventually will go away.

this is so cool.maybe you should go to the library and look up some old news articles. perhaps something happened there in the past and you've got a poltergeist.

If, in fact, you are being truthful.... I suggest you start out by contacting a psychiatrist... not because I think you are crazy and lying.... just because it is the most realistic place for you to start....
