Unless you have a lot of inquiries on your report, I wouldn't worry about it. Your credit is going to be terrible for at least 2 years, and that's how long inquiries stay on your report.

There is a site called http://www.lifeafterbankruptcy.com that has a lot of information about repairing your credit. He has a lot of newsletters and other information. Just note that he also has stuff he's trying to sell. But unlike a lot of sites people post here, this site does have tons of very good, free info.

This is not spam...I just like to point out good information. I have nothing to do with this, or any other site that I post links to.

Good luck.

if you just filed has it been discharged ? And why would you
be trying for a credit card already? And why a secured
card? Just use your debit card that is free, has no fees,
has no interest, and is debited out of your checking account.
and live within your means for a year or two because inquiries
during your bankruptcy is going to lower your score even more. Let it go for a year, then try for a credit card.

They will stay on for 2 years, but drop in point value very quickly (6 months). Also, a bunch of inquiries within 14 days appears to be you shopping for credit terms and is considered 1 inquiry.

You can dispute most negative things on your report including inquiries. I used a kit I got at www.creditrepair101site.com and boosted my score 60 points myself.
