mix sage & onion stuffing with peeled, cored & chopped cooking apple, spread half onto some pastry, lay a filet of pork on top, cover with rest of stuffing mix, bring pastry over to cover & lay seam side down on a baking sheet. Any ideas what oven temp & how long i should cook it for, thanks in advance

375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Sounds really tasty !!! Usually pastry requires a hot oven like 200 - 220 degrees.

So I would suggest seering the meat before you wrap it in the pastry to give it a start. good luck.

You should pre cook the tenderloin and then you will only have to worry about cooking the pastry, which you can do by it's package instructions. Good luck and I'm going to try this the next chance I get it sounds really good, sort of like beef wellington. I'm gonna add some raisins too. Thanks for the recipe idea.

It should take longer than the fillet alone, 30mins per lb plus 30mins at gas 6
