Well not just the dark can scare you, maybe it's some objects in where you sleep? They might appear scary in the dark...Try cleaning that place, and looking so you know where everything is. Then open the window an hour before you go to bed, then when your going to bed close it. Turn on a night light. And leave the door open if there is a door.

I was scared of the dark too. You should leave your closet light on or get a night light. I had a night light til I was 15.

Also, you need darkness when you sleep, it's really important.

Sweet Dreams.

I have dealt with this problem a lot with my sister, what i did was bought her a lamp and a timer switch and set the switch to 2 hours after her usual bedtime, this then switched the lamp off and sort of weened her off the fear of dark, when a lamp is lit it only lights half the room and proves there is nothing at all to be scared of, In fact to be honest with you shes more scared of the weirdos shell meet in the daytime now than when shes fast asleep in the dark
