The pharmacist usually tells me that they have to run it through the insurance before they can tell me a price. Some pharmacicies will match another pharmacy.... is there an easier way to find out without all the foot work.

Just try to compare med prices online. I do it for my cialis before I make any orders.
this is a good site - viagrafans.com . it is not an online pharmacy but an online community of viagra cialis and levitra users, the site also has got price comparison of cheapest and trusted online pharmacies.

Just ask them or go in. Pharmacies here in New York are required to have an available listing of the retail prices of most of the commonly prescribed drugs and I have seen similar lists in other states.

If it is a chain pharmacy, you may be able to get the same information online. I've never tried.

i may well be actual furious if a pharmacy denied me my prescription. I take start administration pills for a condition called PCOS. thankfully i've got in no way had a difficulty getting my prescription filled. those pharmacies would desire to realize that start administration pills are prescribed for motives different than their universal purpose. That a company approved to dispense drugs refuses to dispense such drugs is shameful. whilst agreeing to run a pharmacy, you compromise to sell drugs, a pharmacist's own evaluations and non secular ideals shouldn't play into it in any respect.

try calling them

but it is true that they need to check what your coverage is to price it

If the price does not meet your needs just tell them to put the meds back, they have to by law, they can not force you to buy it

always check walmart since they are the cheapest for lots of drugs

if you have a particular med that your doctor wants you to take and even with insurance it is too expensive you can try Canada or Europe (over the web). It is not as fast as going to the store but can be much cheaper.

I personally buy some of my generic meds at the site below (based in England)

good luck

You need to consult your summary plan description. Why do you doubt them when they say they have to process the claim through the insurance to find the price. The insurance determines the copay.....not the pharmacy.

There are thousands of insurance companies and thousands of drugs. Which means (gasp!) we don't have the copays memorized!

If you have insurance, it really won't make a major difference where you go. I can't tell you your prescription price if you have insurance until I run it through. There are hundreds of policies, and so, I can't memorize them all.
