I am about 3 weeks into my membership and I'm not happy with it. The lady that signed me up told me I had 60 days to cancel my membership for any reason. Legally, can they refuse to can cel my membership? What should I tell them if they give me a hard time?

Check your contract. If you have a 60 day out, then put it in writing that you want out and have it delivered registered mail. If they charge you again then yu have cause to have the charges reversed or be reimbursed.

I would look at the contract you had to sign. At the very least I would go cancel it now just in case it is 30 days and not 60 days. If it is over the limit they say on your contract then you are stuck. I had a membership at Crunch and tried to cancel it and they wouldn't let me until the year ran out-at which point i never renewed. Good luck-I hope you are able to cancel

No, but my bad experience with Bally's says they might try a fast one--be careful.
