Soft, not spicy, not too hot. Ice cream and Popsicles are great because the can help with the swelling.

Cooler foods, more liquidy like soups work the best. Stay away from high chew foods like meat for a few days. Your tounge needs time to heal and swelling to decrease. I ate soup for the first few days just to give my tounge time to heal. I actually had to eat warmer foods cold foods seem to irritate it worse. Most people I had talked to recommended cold though.

try eating soft foods, soup. naturally, it will hurt because it hasn't healed yet. avoid caffeine, dairy products, spicy foods and crispy foods for the first week since it will just cause swelling.
i hope this helps, i barely ate when i had my tongue pierced.

You could ingest liquids. It would also be a good idea not
to fully open your mouth. People are not going to react
positively, so just be careful.

Stuff that's BLAND:
No acids - no lemonade or OJ or BBQ sauce.
And stuff that's SOFT - it won't hit the piercing.
