that have absolutely nothing to do with either religion or spirituality?

Evolution posts should be in the Science section and math problems should be posted elsewhere and questions about injured animals should be posted in the Pet's section.

Some people don't know how to categorize, sometimes, I have clicked a specific section, only to have something accidently move it, so I unintentionally misposted.

The Evolution issue, however, does impact particularly Christians, but also all monotheistic creation centered religions (note-- creation centered does not mean 7 day creationist, at least to me) and for some, is a major challenge to their faith.

For me, I personally think that God guided creation through evolution, but that is just me.

On the whole, post a polite you'll-get-a-better-response-if you-correctly categorize-it reply to those who seem to have unintentionally misposted, ignore those who post baiting, sarcastic, and having-nothing-to-do with religion and spirituality questions, and try to have patience with the evolution issue.

I disagree with you. I rather have someone asking my take here on evolution than this kind of question. You need to remember that sometimes people want to have their input in this section and not to get the answer that you would get in other section.

Probably because R&S has so many readers. Your "filing system" is bang on......but it seems that R&S spans a greater variety of subjects than one may at first think. Evolution vs. creation, for instance.....definitely a HUGE part of one's religion or spirituality.

Some Christians take it upon themselves to make that an issue. I think it must really bother them on some Godly level. I do not think that they are truly connected to God, but are labouring under some humanistic interpretation of who and/or what God is and what His Plan is and how He does things.

Because there is a God (or gods) in all of us and in everything that wants to change the wicked ways of man.

I always thought this was the Religion and Cat section. Most of us here have or would like to have a cat.

dude it's a free country. People can post where they want.

Maybe it doesn't make a lot of sense to post math questions in the R&S section, but there's no law against it.
