If you were to read Gods word, you would see that judo-christian is one in the same. We have the same God. There is no such thing as earlier Jewish Gods, I think that you are talking about The Greek Gods, and I can give you an answer to that.
Exodus 32:1
[ The Golden Calf ] When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him."
Exodus 32:1-3 (in Context) Exodus 32 (Whole Chapter)
Deuteronomy 9:7
[ The Golden Calf ] Remember this and never forget how you provoked the LORD your God to anger in the desert. From the day you left Egypt until you arrived here, you have been rebellious against the LORD.
These verses show you how Gods people got impatient, and didn't want to listen or obey the true God and so they decided to create their own God, which provoked God to anger. Therefore, this was the beginning of other Gods, and at this time peopel thought that the people of Moses were Jews, however they were not, those people were Israelites, Jews did not become Jews until after the tribe of Judah, and that is were the Jews became Jews. Read the Bible it has very wonderful and beautiful true stories about God, and they are all true.....

When Rabi Jesus started teaching he said (Matt. 5:17-20) That he was not here to start a new religion, but to fix the Jewish one.
And it was all Jewish for some time after he died even.
There is a Jewish religion still today that dose believe that Jesus was the Christ.
There has never been more than one God in the Jewish religion. Even thinking that there is more than one is sinning!

It is no secret that Christianity branched off from Judaism.

In fact, the earliest Christians were in fact Jews.

By the way, Judaism only has one god.

For the Nation of Israel there was always ONLY ONE God. They were punished for adding to that number and were reminded constantly that the Jehovah God was the ONE true God.

God didnt present Himself as one of many.
