i didnt have medical coverage so i went to the doctor. He was so rude and cussed me out so i didnt pay the bill i owed. it was $800. Now it is $1000. That has been 4 years ago. I heard that it will clear in 7yrs. Is that true? Will my credit get ruined?

Is it on your credit report now? If so, it's already impacting your credit. Negatives fall off your credit report in 7-1/2 years from the delinquency.

They could sue you. If you get a summons be sure to show up in court. Check the Statute of Limitations (SOL) for your state. http://www.fair-debt-collection.com/SOL-by-State.html

If the debt is beyond the SOL, you can use that in court as an affirmative defense against paying the debt.

Must have been some doctor if he cussed you out.

Saying that the creditor was rude doesn't have anything to do with anything. You still owe the money and if you don't pay, it will mess up your credit.
