My boyfriend was in the bathroom of our apartment(we live together) and I noticed that our living room was a mess. I told him to clean it up once he's done using the bathroom. He started yelling at me and told me to leave him alone since he's a grown man(we're both in our early 20's and we're also college students). Well I got a bit upset that he yelled at me so I yelled at him outside of the bathroom door. He told me to back off and I wouldn't. That was when He swung the door open and I noticed that his right hand was fisting something brown and he threw it right at my face. That thing that he threw was his feces(poop). He laughed and yelled at me that I deserved it. That was one of the worst experiences I've ever had! I have never had poop on myself especially thrown at me! I told him to apologize and he wouldn't. He even told me to clean up because I smell bad and I'm making a mess being covered in feces. My boyfriend can have random mood swings but enough is enough I want to sue!

I would have called the police right after it happened and have him arrested for assault. Since you didn't I would get away from this guy fast...he's a nut...you should have no further contact with him...including a courtroom. Chances are he'd stalk you.

The kind of unreasonable litigiousness that you're exhibiting is the very thing clogging up court systems all across the world. You had poo thrown at you. It was unpleasant. Life was never meant to be easy, just accept that.
Unless you've suffered some sort of damage - not just, oh, it was disgusting, but actual damage - you've got no chance. Save yourself the lawyer's fees, save the court your griping and go have a shower.

I also agree with green shirts. What he did was assault you, and if you are still with this guy you are as nuts as he is. This person is mentally unstable and dangerous. Just get as far away from him as you can and sever all ties.

I can't believe you refer to him as "my boyfriend". Shouldn't that be "my ex-boyfriend?" I can't believe you have to ask what to do !
