They are still there. They may not agree with you or me or some one else but there are many Patriots out there. Some have served in the military others havent. Agreeing or disagreeing with one political line of thought or another doesnt cancel thier patroitism card as so many are wont to do.
Doing what you believe is the best for your country is.

How very sad that you'd have to ask a question like that... it would appear that you may have been encouraged to sort your brothers and sisters into piles marked "love the war" and "hate the warrior"... For most normal people who don't believe in zero-sum patriotism, we are totally devoted to our country, its broad principles and the Constitution those principles come from, and love our country enough to get angry at factions whose agendas we cannot trust anymore. American patriots are right where we've always been--trying to salvage the good out of the wreckage, and hoping for better times ahead. Don't narrow your definition of 'American patriot' down into a sound-byte someone e-mailed you from some tinfoil-hatted blog or other. Remember who's already died for your freedoms, OK?

Some are fighting in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and some live at home in America. They are soldier's and me, a civilian who loves them so much, I cannot express it in words, although I'm a poet. We're still here, alive and well, we just don't scream as loud as idiots are doing. Maybe we should? Just a thought, but we must find a way to let the Troops know they're loved, and we're thankful to them, above most media who are out to tear them down, and give them a lie, that most Americans are against them, because WE ARE NOT!
God Bless America, and more so her Troops. You all are doing a great job!
I love you!

They are in the military or are veterans.
That is about 3% of the American population. Shame isn't it.

I was born and raised in NYC. I consider myself a patriot, i love this country and can not see myself living anywhere else. BUT, i refuse to go fight for a man or should i say chimp, that lies to his country and puts troops on the frontline to die. If u consider me un-patriotic then so be it, if it were possible for Clinton to still have been in office, i would be in a Marine uniform right now
