Why do they assume The Antichrist is from an enemy country, and not their own? When he reveals himself many will fall for his false message of peace. Why aren't more watchful?

Where does it say the antichrist is a person. It could be an idea, or a nation of people. Some believe that the credit cards we carry are the unholy number 666. We don't know for sure, so we wait, and we watch, and we make sure our lamps are filled with oil.

Jesus said that MANY will come On the strength of My name claiming to be the Messiah,the Christ.
This Is why He told His disciples as you've seen Me asend ,I will return In like manner.
Watch and pray that you (God's People) are accounted worthy to escape all these things that are to come upon the earth.
The anti-christ will offer a peace contract/treaty and will offer peace. Then after 3 1/2 yrs,Sudden destruction,and there will be no peace.

why dont you understand there are many antichrists, but only 1 that will take over the world and bring on the end times and that is who they are talking about?
