Why do you want to change forks?

I could suggest a Rock Shock Reba U Turn, which is a very nice lightweight fork. It has about the same travel your current one has, and if you get the U-Turn version, it means you can lower your front to 85mm for steep or long climbs, and extend it a bit like 115 mm for downhills. It has compression damping, rebound damping, can be locked out if you want, and it can be adjusted pretty much.

Fox, they make some very good forks, just check for the budget. Go for one with 100mm travel. The Talas has too much travel for your bike.

Marzocchi also makes some great forks, I think they're changing their line for 2008, and I don't know the models.

Don't go for a too long fork, avoid forks over 120 or 130mm travel, and rather search for those in the 100 realm. The Reba would be fine since you could just deviate from the standard on the special sections.

But, well, also think that a good fork will likely cost 1/3 or half of the price of the complete bike, I would think before buying one. Just a thought...

well it depends where you live. the reason why is because 1. the type of dirt youll be riding on. and 2. how close is the service.
well also what kinda rideing will u be doing. do you want a cross county feel or a downhill feel. well i recomend the mazarochi bomer because it responds well to sandy enviorments and it is easy to deal with their costomer service.
