Don't know what they are using in the UK. There are different types of dogs to use for hunting foxes. There are Fox Hounds, Blood Hounds, here they use dogs to hunt and track coyote, that are similar to Fox Hounds.
They can train different dogs to hunt fox.

Hunting game with dogs was banned in England and Wales a few years ago, but before that they used English Foxhounds.

Hunting ANY quarry with dogs is now illegal here. But they used to use packs of foxhounds, or beagles, mainly.
