Love just doesnt exist u have to work on it to flower blossom and bloom for a very long hard time....
if u get lazy it runs out of freshness and the beautiful scent
Long lasting for me would mean that even if i am 70 i still have sumtin new to talk about with my wife
because zSeX is not what they are together for at that age its company and if u cant sit and feel good about each others presence by saying a few soothing words and just holding hands and looking in each others eyes and get the same feeling u did at the time when u were 20 mannnnnnnnnn Nothing like it I mean wat the hell are u gonna do staring at each other.... :) otherwise HEHE she wont get hot and he wont get hard...... How old is the boy/man you are asking? (I assume you are talking in terms of meaningful relationships)
12-17 boys are naive and oversexed (or both) and there personalities are still changing. The sex drives is so intense that they we might say things like I will love you forever because 1) we may genuinely mean it 2) We think it is what we have to say to have sex. In the instance of case number 1, the relationship may break off shortly than the womans perpective of "long lasting" because the boy was to immature to handle the demands of a committed relationship or one or both persons personalites mature and they grow apart. IN the instance of case 2, men seperate sex and love but they soon learn most women view sex and love as the same. Therefore deceitful men will say "I love you" or "I want to be with you forever" as a ploy to get sex because that most women view love as a prerequisite to sex. (Additionally while American morality is still in flux - Generally now it is acceptable for a woman to have sex if she is in love and in a relationship, while she may be socially negatively labeled as a whore or a tramp if there is not,at least, the illusion of love and a relationship.)
Between 18-25 most men are not interested in long term relationships - And it becomes difficult to determine who is sincere and who is duplicitous. (Generally mens sexual drive peaks between 16-20 and women's sex drive peaks between 26-29) [Why? evolutionarily speaking, men who are promiscuous have more children than men who do not while women who have a monogamous mate historically have had a higher success rate in raising her children to reproductive maturity(only in recent history have single women been successful in being able to raise children to reproductive maturity without a monogamous mate due to government programs, modern inventions and task diversification) For most of human developement a single woman without a child had to provide food, shelter and defense on her own. Each of these with the child with you are much less efficient and effective, but if you leave the child alone the child is much more vulnerable - hence the evolutionary predispostion for women who attract monogamous males. All of this leads to the time honored quip, "Women If you want to blame someone for the poor quality of the current stock of males, blame your mothers and grandmothers because it is the women who determine which men will reproduce and the result is what your mothers and grandmothers chose]
Sometime between 25-35 most men become less preoccupied with sex and more interested in committed relationships.

depends on what the subject is... if its relationship... then for me its 2-3 years...
thats long lasting... because after the 2nd year, u both start to lose interest and find others hotter/better then ur current mate... its weird how it works like that but it does...
