Awwww...you know what else is cute? All the nice little puppies down at the Animal Control facility who are waiting to be adopted but probably never will because there aren't enough homes for all the puppies. Those adorable puppies will be euthanized, along with millions of others and their only "crime" was being born. Being born because people like you just think it's so gosh darn diddly cute to breed animals.

That is not a good reason to breed your dogs. reasons why not to breed your dog.

1.you dont know what the heck your doing .Seriously you dont even know the basics such as the apropriate age that your dog must be to breed. do you really want to risk killing the female? It's possible the female could die during pregnancy or in labor,or maybe a week or so after the pups are delivered.

2. C-sections cost a couple thousand dollars. Are you willing to have a couple thousand dollars ready incase she needs a C-section?

3. Every time you breed you kill more dogs in shelters. Say if your dog has a litter of 5,you just killed 5 puppies in shelters. Even if your pups do find homes ,they would be taking up a home that could have been tooken by a rescue dog. but like you would care.

4. Your dog needs genetic testing before she breeds.just to check that she is fit for breeding. That will cost you alot of money.

5. More frequent vet checks and ultrasounds will cost you.

Spay and nueter both your dogs. Reasons to nueter/spay
Spaying is for females,it is a surgery that removes the uteris. which keeps your dog from haaving pups.

1. Spayed females do not get ovarian cancer
2.Spayed females will not go into heat anymore. No bloodly messess and a releif for your dog

3. Wont attract unwanted visitors to your yard.

When you neuter a male dog it is a surgery that involves removing of the his parts. He will no longer be able to inpregnate a female.
4. Nuetered males do not spray

5. nuererd males are less likely to run away and get picked up by the dog catcher or get struck by a car since their need for a mate has soothed

6. Nuered males will not get testical cancer.

Do not worry spaying and nuetering your two dogs will not keep them from bonding.

Ask your vet about spaying and nuetering.

Spayed and nuetered dogs have a strong reputation for a longer healthier life.

so if you wuv your dog so much that you wanna risk her life for your amusment? not my idea of puppy love.

all that goes on in irresponsible breeders mind is " how cute to see them together " and think of all the $$$$$

Awwww.. breeding two mixed breed dogs together cause they look cute together.. How adorable is that...

You should do some research on breeding. Not only should mixed breed dogs be fixed, but if you read even those websites offering them for sale.. Even those con artists don't recommend you breed the two mixes together.. Cause you know why?? It's a horrible idea and you end up with a litter of dogs that shouldn't be born cause they are so full of health problems and structural problems that they don't last more than a couple of years.

You are setting yourself up to get sued cause people will want their money back when you are trying to find homes for those little genetic messes. If you give them away you'll be sued for pain and suffering.. Some little girl falling in love w/ the puppy you give them cries herself to sleep cause her dog dies.. How would you feel when you are responsible for all that heartbreak.

She might never go into heat.. Those awful mixes have a lot of problems.. You'll find out when she gets a little older. She is far too young to be bred at this point, and you should be looking at her as a baby and allowing her to enjoy her puppyhood... Rather than forcing her into motherhood..

Dogs that are bred too young turn into screwballs.. They don't take care of their puppies, they refuse to feed them and if you read some of the questions on YA you'll see that they often try to kill their puppies. YIKES.. You feel like feeding puppies every single 2 hours til they are several weeks old?? That's not just thru the day, that's all night long too...

OH particular they are in a position to and have mated and in approximately sixty 3 days if there is not any emergency abort and spay performed you would be the proud proprietor of roughly 4-5 by using-bred Maltese domestic dogs. Congratulations you basically joined an elite club of BYBers.

Unless you've got homes lined up for the puppies, please don't breed yours. Especially if you're doing it just because you think the idea is cute. There are literally millions of homeless pets in this country, and if you let yours have pups for no better reason, you're adding to the problem. Have you ever seen a dog or cat dead on the road, because they were hit by a car? Imagine your dog's puppies out there. Have you ever visited your local Humane Society? Have you seen racks of pets there? Have you seen an entire long wall of animal cages, each with maybe 2 or 3 puppies or kittens in them because they don't have room for them all? Imagine your puppies there.

Spay your dog. If you want a puppy, go to the Humane Society and adopt one. You may well literally be saving its life.

Breeding is about more then being "cute together" It is a BIG responsability. Secondly it is VERY irresponsible to delibrately breed mixes. Thirdly she is too young to be bred. Dogs should NOT be bred under the age of 2 years.
In addition to the above dogs need genetic health testing (not just simple vet exams) before being considered for a breeding program.
You have a mix so you aren't breeding with a goal in mind except "cute" and $$$$$. You aren't breeding for health, temeprament, to add something of quality back to a breed..you aren't breeding for any responsible action.
Be aware too that toy breeds/mixes are very prone ot complications during pregnancy/whelping..you could be ending up with an emergency c-section or other emergency and you could even end up loosing your dog as well as her pups.
Do the responsible thing and get your girl spayed asap..she is a mix so don't go adding more mixes let her be the loving pet she was meant to be.She'll thank you for it and wil llive a longer, healthier life.

you need to realize that your dog is still a PUPPY. breeding her at this age would be the same as letting your 10 year old daughter get pregnant. what is wrong with you? get both the dogs "Fixed", it is more healthier for both of them. plus, it means that uneducated "breeders" (for the lack of a better word) like you wont add to the overpopulation of unwanted dogs that are being put to sleep by the millions every year. do the pet population a favor and spay and neuter.

Everything I was thinking when i read your question has already been said.

PLEASE spay your puppy.
PLEASE have your friend neuter the male puppy.
PLEASE go down to your local animal shelter and look at the perfectly lovable puppies and know that you are doing a good thing by fixing your pup.

At 7 months old your dog is way too young to be bred. 2 years is more like it. Even then it's not a good idea. Spay your little one. It's better for you both.
